Alright, I’ll admit it. I watch Antiques Roadtrip, amongst others. I got hooked when I was living in the UK, partly a chance to see some of the best of British countryside, but mostly I love quality made things – and these days that generally means not made recently. To me vintage, retro and Antique is synonymous with long lasting, craftsmanship quality. And let’s not forget unique.
Since I now live in France, I particularly like to look for vintage and antique items that are quintessentially French. Many of which can be found in the French Vintage Section of my Shop. And given my history in wine and all that goes into making it, I of course enjoy finding Wine Related items for my Shop.
Add in my, sometimes, quirky sense of humour and a love for animals, especially ducks, and I often find myself buying some fairly unusual items for the shop. Visit my Animal Lover Gifts Section to see the selection.
When it comes to vintage fashion, I personally have a particular weakness for vintage scarves and have collected them for years. If you are like me and enjoy your retro wear, have a look at my French Silk Scarf Shop.
Why Etsy? I like their ethos as a window to artists, crafters and independent businesses, like me. I shop there myself, as I know I will find unique, quality gifts, particularly for some hard to buy for relatives. And I am a great believer in quality, so if it can be found in one place, whether old or new, that’s where I want to shop.
Take a browse, and I’ll hope you buy something (so I can save towards my new roof work.)
