Take Time to…

I love getting older. There, I have said it. And it is true, because, honestly, with ages does come wisdom, and a certain laissez-faire* attitude. (*the approach of leaving things to take their own course, without interfering.) And, I have learned how to simplify my life, take time for what matters, and in consequence, have found I am happier. I smile more, I certainly laugh more, and I enjoy life more.

Moving to the French countryside isn’t why I am happier, it has simply helped in opening my eyes to what is important in life, and consequently, how to embrace happiness more. Life shouldn’t be complicated or rushed, though it often tries to make itself so. So, it is up to us to simplify it and take time to…
